Tomorrow is a special day on which people from around the world celebrate St. Patricks by wearing green and drinking heavily 
. There is; however, another reason to celebrate – My Birthday. In the last week I’ve started a mission to rank for my name, George Fischer. The problem, I quickly discovered, is that my name also happens to be the name of an international piping company who also happens to have the domain. This company also has tons of viral content that ranks in additional to circa 18,000 links to the home page and about 5,000 deep links. As you can see I have a tall order in front of me.
That is where my birthday and YOU come in. If, in the celebration of my birthday, you would like to help please keep reading.
I’ve already set up a landing page for my name at /george-fischer/. What I need is some link building help. I’m not asking for a site wide link or even a link on your homepage. What would be extremely helpful is a followed link with my name as anchor text on an indexed page. Once people start linking and I start to see some movement in the SERPS, I’m going to make a post with the results. I will of course be including links to those bloggers who helped out

Nice, I like the ambition. How long do you think it’ll take for you to outrank an established site with so many backlinks? They also have subdomains that are ranking, helping them to dominate the SERP. I think you’ll need more than an optimized inner page with a bunch of blog backlinks… Good luck!
